Collin got to come home on Monday!
He is feeling better. He was up playing yesterday. He went up for his first counseling session today, there will be more to come on that from Julie.
We are just very thankful that Collin is feeling better. We are hoping by Christmas he is much more energetic and can enjoy himself and his family.
We are still struggling with pain, but it is being managed somewhat with the pain medications they sent home with him.
The nausea has become minimized and is well controlled on the medication. He is still struggling with diarrhea, but not nearly as badly as it was before. That is also being well controlled on medications, finally!
Collin is still unstable and wobbly as far as the walking goes. He walked from the parking garage into the doctors office within the hospital, and then walked back out. That is quite a lot of walking for Collin right now, but it is awesome! He is still using the chair for long distances and such, and sometimes he still uses the walker at home because he can get off balance easily.
That is all for now. Thank you for all of your support!!
