Roller Coaster

Yesterday was a roller coaster for Collin. The doctors thought that they would be able to start the medication to help his liver by mid afternoon or evening. They were unable too. His blood pressure did not stabilize. His liver is getting worse by the day. Also the edema in his lung is getting worse. They may have to put a chest tube in. They will see how his lungs are on Monday before they do that. They have his dialysis at a low rate because of the liver. They are trying to keep him as comfortable as possible. Yesterday evening his mouth started bleeding worse. They gave him a platelet transfusion before I went back to the Ronald McDonald house. They hoped that would help with the bleeding. It did not. His white blood cells are recovering. His bone marrow is growing back. That is the plus in all of this. Sorry this is so short. I will put up another post later on what his status is for today. We did get moved into our new house yesterday. Thank you to everybody that helped get the house ready & helped us move. We really appreciate it. We couldn't have done it without you all! Thank you.
