Per Julie's request, I am posting this update. However, she respectfully requested that I make it clear to everyone: PLEASE DO NOT CALL HER, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE HOSPITAL AT THIS TIME. Collin is in multi-organ failure, known as SOS. However, while this is very serious, the doctors are not giving up on him yet. He is still in ICU, and he is still at the same level of consciousness he has been since Sunday. He is being kept comfortable with pain medication and a sedative, but they are not putting him back into a coma or anything like that. The primary concern is keeping him comfortable right now and of course, keeping him as stable as possible.
Again, please do not go to the hospital or call Julie. This is because Julie is very overwhelmed at this time and requested that we please not contact her. Again, you are welcome to contact me or any other member of the family for questions, concerns, comments, etc. I will do my best to keep you updated. Be advised that if the situation worsens, visitation will be permitted at that time, it is just not permitted at this time, but for a few family members.
We really appreciate your patience, understanding, love, prayers, and support during this very difficult time. Thank you so much for everything. Again, feel free to contact me for any reason.
