Day -7

I was going to put the post up yesturday, but fell asleep in the middle of it. Today went well. Collin got admitted and settled into his room fine. He started the chemo today. This is a high powered chemo. He should be done with the chemo part. Thursday or Friday. He will rest over the weekend & then the transplant will take place on Monday. We are blessed to have the Ronald McDonald House this year. I am still sleeping in Collin's room at night, but at least I can go to the Ronald McDonald House to shower, eat, do laundry & take naps. It will also help if Kasey & Zack come up and stay. Collin was in a good mood today. He actually talked to the doctors & staff! It was great. He has also been more willing to do his therapy. He is doing PT & OT, music & art therapy. He really enjoys the art. He is starting to get into the music therapy. He is hooked up to monitors this time. He isn't very happy about that. He has to be hooked up to the heart, oxygen & respiratory monitors at all times. He did great today. I thought he would be grouchy because of being admitted again. He wasn't at all. As some of you may know, we are moving. We will be moving into my Aunt Yvette's home. The move is taking place on March 5th. We have to do it before Collin comes home, otherwise, we have to wait until June. If anybody would like to help shoot me either an email, text or call. I know that this week I will be going home Wed thru Friday this week to work on getting things packed. Collin's father is going to be staying with him. I will be doing packing on Thrusday if anybody is available. Thank you for all of your prayers & support. 317-397-3960 or juliessimon@yahoo.com
