Waking up!

Collin is waking up. He can only open his eyes a little bit right now. However, he is showing us a lot of response. He is moving his body! He fights the respiratory therapist. He also wasn't happy that I put Aquphore on him. That helps protect his skin. Aunt Sissy was holding his hand and he was wiggling a lot. She asked him if he was in pain to squeeze her finger. He did. She then asked him again to make sure. He did it again. His nurse gave him a bolus of his pain meds. They have had a little trouble with his blood pressure so they are monitoring that closely. They also took his catheter out since he wasn't urinating that much. He keeps trying to take his diaper off. Also, the swelling is starting to go down. He recognizes our voices. He is doing great.
